~ Service and Commitment Worth a King's Ransom ~Alpacas of Nottingham Hollow has evolved from a desire to do something with our land. We began our alpaca journey in early 2003 after seeing a television commercial. Many farm visits later and after lots of research, seminars and shows we took the plunge and started our farm. Since our land was heavily wooded it has been quite an experience clearing the property and putting up the barn, shelters, fencing and pastures. This is an ongoing process which we hope to finally have completed someday! Realizing just how important it is to become educated in the many aspects of alpaca ownership we do our best to promote alpacas and the industry through our participation in several organizations which are noted on our LINKS page. Please take the time to look at those websites in your own alpaca journey! We are founding members of the Virginia Alpaca Owners & Breeders Association and have given many hours to launching this 31st affiliate of AOBA and setting the foundation of a strong presence in Virginia.

A visit to our farm will give us the opportunity to share our thoughts with you on some of the do's and don'ts of alpaca farming that we have learned along the way. We welcome the chance to talk "alpaca" with you and hope to hear from you soon when you call or email to schedule your appointment!
