Tuck was everything we could have hoped for in a little boy and now in a sire! He is very strong, has very nice lines and his fiber is crimpy and dense. He has great handle and very good leg coverage. His color is listed as Light Fawn but is more like apricot.

Friar Tuck is out of DAFI Tabitha whose sire is Peruvian Ringmaster, well known for his wonderful fiber. She is an excellent mother, very attentive and caring with loads of milk.

His sire, Knight of Camelot, has perfect conformation, heavy bone and soft handle to his fine, uniform, lustrous true black fleece.

Tuck has inherited the best of both!

His first cria was born on November 27, 2008; Quinn of Nottingham Hollow, a light fawn male with perfect conformation, crimp and buttery soft fiber who bears such a close resemblance to his sire they are hard to distinguish from a distance! Tuck’s second cria arrived on November 21, 2009 out of Nottingham Hollow’s Black Velvet; her first cria. It is a dark brown female, Autumn Bliss.

He also settled Nottingham Hollow’s Lady Emma resulting in the 5/21/10 birth of National Treasure and Charmed Princess Curiosity resulting in the birth of Charming Angel of Dreaming Dragons on June 8, 2010. Both of these females were somewhat reluctant maidens and Tuck actually showed Emma what she needed to do by dismounting her and cushing next to her.

Tuck placed 4 out of 10 in LF Yearling Halter at the 2006 VAOBA Alpaca Expo. The Spin-off judge raved about his fiber and said there was little question in her mind that it would place high once his points were added up – He took 1st Place in that class! In the 2008 VAOBA Alpaca Expo Spin-off he took a third in his class of 7.
