Announcing the birth of The Deputy! The Sheriff of Nottingham Hollow and Nottingham Hollow’s Lady Emma have given us a little male cria. It’s only day 311 gestation; he’s 12 pounds! No teeth, arrow straight legs, may be light rose grey, wonky ears and soft toe nails… He’s very alert and was up standing in 45 minutes. Just checked on him about 1/2 hour ago and he was up walking around. We will give him some colostrum as soon as I get a helper here. His dam is very attentive and although her milk is not in yet she’s clucking at him trying to help him find the milk bar…
